Light & Letter is a digital community created for women of faith who want to heal from struggles, rise in their passion, and thrive in their God-given purpose. It’s a community based on over 15 years of ministry, creativity, and hands-on experience supporting women in their spiritual and life journeys. It’s a community that harnesses the power of encouragement, faith, and practical support.

We aim to offer resources that help you in every part of your daily life. Here, you’ll find tools to help you understand Scripture, sharable resources you can send to friends or post on your social media, and practical skills courses that give you the confidence to live in today’s world. Each resource is created with heart, faith, and focus just for you.

In this fast-paced world where technology can overshadow and divide, Light & Letter is determined to use that technology to clear a path and unite women of faith. While we embrace technology, we also believe that human support from real, live women is one of the most powerful tools we can harness. No chatbots. No AI counselors. Just women supporting women.

Light & Letter exists to walk alongside women to help them embrace their identity in Jesus, live out their purpose, and shine brightly in this world. This is a place where women connect, support one another, and grow together.

Meet the Founder

Dr. Katherine Spann

Doc K grew up gardening and training horses and dogs in a small town. She is a wife and mom of two adult kids who were homeschooled. Homeschooling allowed her to teach each child in the way they learn best.

Today, she is building a self-sustaining homestead in the desert while working remotely in the tech industry. She uses her creative skills to design visual stories that illuminate Scripture, encourage a walk of faith, and inspire women to follow their passion.

She carries a Doctorate in Ministry and is the online pastor for Living Word Fellowship, where she has served since 2010. Her studies in apologetics have given her the foundation to show the truth of Scripture in a secular world. Over a decade of study in soul care and deliverance ministry have provided the experience needed to help women see themselves as God sees them. Doc K uses this experience to teach women to release what God has put in them and live a life that satisfies their soul and glorifies God.

Doc K has been working with faith-filled women for over 15 years, helping them to heal from traumas and hindrances, rise into their God-given passion, and thrive in a life they love to live. She believes every woman deserves to be seen, loved, and supported in their faith journey and in their daily life.

She is passionate about helping women become strong, both in faith and in life. She believes women can be strong and independent without contradicting scripture. Doc K founded Light & Letter to help women learn the skills they need to be the helpmeet (strong, capable, powerful partner) God intended them to be while providing a community of support to encourage, inspire, and strengthen them in their personal journey.
